Kronos – Materia Cemento

Materia  is the new collection that reinterprets the essence of concrete, elevating it to a modern, refined aesthetic form. Inspired by artisanal procedures such as the hand-trowelled application of plaster, Materia accurately reproduces the crafted texture and depth of surfaces created in lime plaster, quartzes and cement mortars, in a porcelain stoneware version with a truly authentic character. Meticulous research into light and its interaction with matter has provided the collection with a subtly varied shine inspired by the natural glints of quartz. The uneven relief textures evoke handapplied surfaces in their tactile, visually “flawed” structures.
