Half Weve Rectifire – Paper Circuit Project Abstract: The Half-Wave Rectifier is a basic power conversion model designed using paper circuit technology to demonstrate the process of converting alternating current (AC) into direct current (DC). This project uses a diode as the main component, allowing current to flow only during one half-cycle of the AC input waveform. In this paper circuit model, the diode conducts during the positive half cycle of the AC signal and blocks the negative half cycle, producing a pulsating DC output. An LED or load resistor is used to visually indicate the rectified output. The concept clearly explains the fundamental working principle of rectifiers used in power supplies. By replacing traditional printed circuit boards with copper tape on paper, the project becomes safe, low-cost, and easy to assemble without soldering. This makes it ideal for educational demonstrations, electronics basics learning, and science exhibitions. Package Includes: 1 Piece –Half Weve Rectifire (Working Project Without Battery) Note: Project Image only Illustration Purpose. The project may be the same or maybe an improved Version. We only provide batteries when students pick up their projects from our lab. Batteries aren’t included in shipped orders because our shipping partner doesn’t allow them.
