Description Recoil Springs Recoil springs for the Hi-Power are available in conventional design for factory and extra power springs and in variable power design for reduced power springs. All are made with load-rated specifications to allow customizing of the recoil function to individual needs. Each load-rated recoil spring pak includes an extra power firing pin spring. Ratings Note:      Browning Hi-Power in 9mm has a 17 Lb. factory recoil spring.      Browning Hi-Power in .40 S&W has a 20 Lb. factory recoil spring.
